"4 Arrested In Alleged Foreclosure Scam"

That's the headline. Thanks again to Fred Eckert. At the April SDCIA meeting, Fred told us about a possible foreclosure scam. I mentioned that we all needed to step up to protect the integrity of our profession & make everyone aware that this was really a scam. Well...

Here's what Brent Carlson had to say & a link to the story:
"Take a look at this friends, Granting a property to a federal land grant will not escape a foreclosure. Note the company names Federal Land Grant Company, Land Grant Services and KBS Resources. If you've been doing any business with these guys stop now they have been arrested. If you've deeded one of your properties into this scheme I am sorry it looks like you are out of luck. Brent

If you locate anyone that signed their property over to any of these groups, call the district attorney's hotline at 619-531-4475.

Keep an eye out for these creeps!

I wish you... Intelligent Investing!!!

Hi Bill,

I saw this post and although it is older, I may have a lead for your FHI project.

There is a condo complex that was being built within a community near me. Recently the place has turned into a ghost town. The lights are off, the equipment gone, the fountain has no water, and it looks like it may be a lead worth pursing. If you want to know the address, give me a call (619) 464-2232.
