We need to thank Mike Cantu for stepping in last week as our meeting speaker. He did a great job filling in for Steve Dexter who had a family tragedy. And then Mike did an even better job all day last Saturday at his workshop. He really has analyzed every aspect of his business and he shared all that and more. Way to go!!!
On a sadder note. I'm speaking in a couple of hours for Robert Campbell's subscriber conference at the Del Mar Hilton. Bob got me to commit to speak and then... he pulled a dress code violation!!! To any who show up; take a good look because I wear a suit every blue moon!
In two weeks (November 2-4) I'll attend John Schaub's seminar in Costa Mesa. See the Upcoming Events page or www.JohnSchaub.com for more information. John will speak at the SDCIA April 8, 2008. Mike Cantu said at his workshop, "People like Jack Miller, John Schaub, Peter Fortunato are investors that are still alive and teach... AND TEACH!!! So take advantage of learning from them while you still can!" Ditto.
My last calculator class of the year will be on November 10th in Orange County at the Lawyers Title office located at 4284 Katella Avenue, Los Alamitos 90720.
The November 14th speaker will be Ward Hanigan. Our December 19th (3rd Wednesday) Christmas party speaker is Bruce Norris.
Starting January 8, 2008, the SDCIA meetings will be on the SECOND TUESDAY of each month.
