Hello everyone. I'm back and really excited about this Tuesday's SDCIA August meeting.

The number one AND number two questions I'm always asked nowadays are:

1) How can I buy one of all these foreclosures?

2) How can I make successful offers to REO real estate brokers?

This month's speakers are Reggie Lal, Mike Gobbi and Debbie Funderburk and they're going to answer BOTH of those questions and many more.

Reggie Lal is a Real Estate investor specializing in foreclosures. He's going to interview REO brokers Mike Gobbi and Debbie Funderburk. Reggie buys REO up in Sacramento from Mike Gobbi! And Debbie Funderburk is a local San Diego county REO broker!

Topic for Meeting:

Speaker's Bio:

Mike Gobbi is without a doubt one of the most experienced REO brokers in Sacramento , if not in all of California . He brings an insight and perspective on our current market that has been forged over the past 27 years. Mike has been an REO broker during the last 3 foreclosure cycles and has some interesting opinions on how our current market is different from years past, how it is similar, and what events are destined to repeat themselves.

This is a rare opportunity to get a behind the scenes perspective on what the banks are currently saying to their brokers, and pick up some definite do's and don'ts in the REO game. There will also be an opportunity for members to ask questions at the end of the meeting.

Mike Gobbi has been a licensed Real Estate agent involved with REO's since 1980. He is a regular expert witness in real estate trials. He has managed a large local real estate office. He is a personal investor who also owns and operates a property management and real estate company. He has been involved in well over 1000 REO transactions in the state of CA, to include a transaction done with our own Reggie Lal just last week.

Reggie Lal is an active investor, wealth building coach, speaker and author with a myriad of experiences in his Real Estate portfolio. Over the last few years alone, Reggie has completed hundreds of deals including: Pre-Foreclosure, Trustee Sales, Retail flips, Wholesaling, New Construction, Private lending and more.

Reggie often speaks and teaches at Investment Clubs and Real Estate Expo’s in an effort to help educate other Real Estate Investors. As the managing broker for his company, Reggie continues to oversee its real estate projects as well as assisting in finding new investment opportunities for this changing market. He also created “Be The Smart Investor” a real estate investment & education firm.

Debbie Funderburk is a San Diego REO broker currently marketing and managing properties for Countrywide, Wells Fargo Bank, Litton Financial, Keystone, Citi Residential, EMC Mortgage, California REO, IndyMac, Select Portfilio, Asset Link, First Preston/Bank of America and Integrated Asset Management.
