This is a deep, heart-felt thank you for those of you from San Diego that made the long & traffic-filled trip up to Corona last night to hear me speak to the Inland Empire REIA. I'm sure the fact that Mike Cantu also spoke never entered into your consideration... So here's to my friends: Helen & Heinz, Anya & Chris, Ortencia, Wendy, Augie, Jeff & Gary. Please forgive me if I missed anyone. It always helps to have friendly faces in the crowd. And I had a blast!!!

After hearing Mike Cantu again last night; you just have to attend his workshop in Long Beach on October 13th. The depth & breadth of his knowledge is so deep! And he is so funny & humble! I've known him for years & learned two new things last night! Go to the Upcoming Events page of the SDCIA web site for info.

There's still a space in tomorrow's calculator class...

I wish you... Invest Intelligently!!!

My friend, Chief Denney, has special project he needs help with.

What makes it special is that ALL THE PROCEEDS of the seminar will go to Habitat for Humanity. If you're not familiar with Habitat for Humanity, it's an organization dedicated to helping people throughout the world (including the U.S.A.) build their own homes with the help of volunteers. I'm told they build houses for about $8,000! Consider that building costs in San Diego run $100 square foot and way, way up! The last time Chief did this was a couple of years ago to benefit the victims of hurricane Katrina. I'm told there will be a spokesperson from Habitat for Humanity share with people what they do and how their donation will benefit those that are in need.

Chief, with the help of Chicago Title, is putting on an a two-day real estate investing seminar on October 27-28. Chief's a pretty good instructor so you'll really learn something if you just listen to him.

However, Chief will have some help. John Hyre, a tax attorney, will educate you on asset protection, entity structure, tax mitigation, etc. John spoke @ the SDCIA a couple of years ago and gave a very good presentation as well as put on a absolutely fantastic value one-day seminar. An insurance specialist will educate you on how insurance really works, what you really need and what you can live without. It will cover the complete gamut from health, life, auto, home and investment property insurance. Ryan Auer will show you the benefits & steps necessary to a successful 1031 exchange. They're talking about adding someone to talk about using IRAs & pensions to invest in real estate. And finally, Chief & Dave Stech will teach memory enhancement skills so you'll remember what was covered!

Sounds pretty good. You can contact Chief at: chief@purposebuiltinvestments.com or 619-223-0055.

Be sure & send him birthday wishes; he just put another candle on his birthday cake.

I wish you... Invest Intelligently!!!

Hold the presses!!! Has a very HOT place frozen over? I just learned that my friend Mike Cantu is going to put on an all day workshop! Will wonders never cease!

I HIGHLY recommend that everyone attend this workshop!!!

Mike was coerced, bribed & beaten down by Steve Love to put on this workshop all day October 13th in Lond Beach. Go to the SDCIA "Upcoming Events" page for further details. Back to Mike.

Mike spoke to the SDCIA in November of last year. If you weren't there you should listen to the recording of that meeting. I've gotten more positive remarks from that presentation than any other single presentation.

Mike has studied & analyzed his real estate business so thoroughly that he has considered the "BEST BUYER OF REAL ESTATE" in the country by some of the most respected seminar gurus around (Bruce Norris & Jack Miller to name a couple). I know he will give that same consideration to the workshop because he has a lot of pride & wants to do the very best job possible.

Mike & I have been attending the same seminars for over 20 years & didn't meet until a couple of years ago. What a shame because he's now a friend (and a very knowledgeable one at that) of mine. Even with all of his knowledge, Mike is very uncomfortable in front of crowds. So this workshop is HUGE!!! And it, in all likehood, will not be repeated.

So dont' miss it! (and you rarely hear me say that)

I wish you... Invest Intelligently!!!

Aaahhh... Fall must be in the air because of all the seminars & workshops being offered locally before Thanksgiving. Check out our Upcoming Events page on the SDCIA web site. It's our longest list yet.

The notables: a free workshop on short sales next week, Bruce Norris has a couple of foreclosure bootcamps, Robert Campbell has a subscriber conference, Daniel Bruckner is doing another short sale bootcamp, John Schaub is coming to Costa Mesa & I'm putting on a beginner's calculator class. And that's not counting conferences & conventions.

You could literally spend all your free time & money attending these events.
DON'T DO IT!!! Take one or two at the most & study until you own the material. Then take ACTION.

Or you could go to your local library or check out material from the SDCIA library which are far cheaper.

Your choice.

I wish you... Invest Intelligently
